IWPG was founded by responsible women with the mission of protecting precious lives from war and passing on a peaceful world to future generations.

Throughout history, countless people have longed for peace and worked tirelessly to achieve it. Yet, many members of our global family still live in fear due to violence, conflict, and war.

That is why we are building a global network of women to bring peace to regions affected by war and ultimately to realize genuine, lasting peace across the entire world.

Women possess the unique ability to conceive and nurture life. This gift instills in us a deep awareness of the sanctity of life, along with a profound sense of love and responsibility.

Just as the womb is a sacred space where the seed of life is miraculously formed into a dignified human being, so too can women across the world become the womb of peace. If we unite as one, the miracle of sustainable peace can become a reality.

With the heart of a mother, we will act alongside women around the world — from individual efforts to institutional initiatives — to realize peace.

Though the night is dark, it is never completely without light, for the moon still shines. Let each of us become a messenger of peace, end war, and leave a true legacy of peace for future generations.
