IWPG-Ethiopian Prime Media, Sign Peace MOU

On September 20, 2025, the World Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) Global 2 Division (Global Director Lee Seo-yeon) signed a business agreement (MOU) with Mr. Korie Shankulie Arsie, the Chief Operating Officer of Ethiopia Prime Media, during the ‘2025 World Women’s Peace Conference’ held at the Enford Hotel in Cheongju, Chungbuk.
Through this agreement, both sides decided to work together to create a culture of peace related to such as ,producing and reporting broadcasting content related to peace promoting women’s peace education reporting international peace events disseminating the DPCW (Declaration of Peace to the End of Global War) and work together to create the world’s peace culture.
Chief Executive Officer Korie Arsie said “preaching peace is the noblest mission of the media,” and “I am confident that with IWPG, the language of peace will echo across borders.”
Global Director Lee Seo-yeon said, “According to this agreement, we will further expand the peace press network in the African region, including Ethiopia,” and “she suggested that we hold a peace conference with local journalists to discuss the practical role of the media in spreading peace, especially when attending the African Union (AU) event next year.”
“Prime media will be a ‘press bridge’ to inform the way to peace with IWPG,” Korie Arsie said after the pact ceremony, “IWPG is an organization that interprets and practices peace from a women’s perspective, and expressed his deep gratitude to IWPG and its stakeholders for organizing the event.”
Meanwhile, IWPG is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea as a global women’s NGO registered with the United Nations Economic Society Board (ECOSOC) and Global Communications (DGC). Currently actively working with 115 branches from 122 countries and 800 cooperative groups from 68 countries all over the world, and it’s leading the way in supporting and urging the legalization of solidarity, spreading the culture of peace, educating women’s peace, and the ‘DPCW)’ with the vision of ‘realization of sustainable world peace’.
