IWPG Signs Peace MOU with Edge of Essence of India

International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) Global Region 3 signed a peace MOU with India’s global lifestyle magazine, Edge of Essence.

The signing ceremony, held online on the Aug 13, was attended by IWPG Regional Director Heo Eun-joo and Edge of Essence CEO Ezuli Tulsan.

Under this agreement, the two organizations will closely cooperate in various areas, including ▲promotion of IWPG-related news and peace campaigns; ▲production of women leader interviews and peace activity content; ▲spreading peace messages through social media; ▲joint use of logos and branding cooperation; and ▲co-hosting of events and forums.

IWPG and Edge of Essence have already engaged in practical exchanges through activities such as women’s peace lecturer education and connecting schools to participate in the International Loving-Peace Drawing Contest. This MOU is expected to further strengthen their cooperative relationship.

Heo Eun-joo, Director of IWPG Global Region 3, stated, “Through this agreement, we expect women’s peace activities in India to become more active and that the value of peace reach more people. We will continue to create tangible peace achievements through ongoing cooperation.”

Ezuli Tulsan, CEO, also said, “Through cooperation with IWPG, we hope that women and children in our region will learn the importance of peace, move beyond conflict, and advance toward harmony. We want to create a better future together.”

Meanwhile, IWPG is an international women’s NGO registered with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), carrying out active peace initiatives worldwide, including women’s solidarity initiatives, the International Peace Drawing Contest, women’s peace education, and the institutionalization of a peace law.
