The International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) has been actively engaged in fostering peace globally by uniting women worldwide and promoting their participation in peace processes within the international community. To end wars and conflicts and to spread a culture of peace, IWPG has established partnerships with over 660 organizations across 60 countries that share a commitment to sustainable peace. Through these collaborations, IWPG disseminates peace culture at the community level and implements its peace education programs.
At this forum, under the theme “Global Women’s Solidarity: Alleviating Gender Inequality through Peace,” participants examined the relationship between peace and gender equality. The discussion focused on the crucial role that women’s solidarity plays in realizing these goals. Women leaders from around the world gathered to collectively work towards building a better future.
