The 5th Peace-Loving Drawing International Contest was held in 117 cities across 61 countries, with 10,025 children and youth participating.
As part of IWPG’s peace culture promotion efforts, this event was designed to instill in young people a “heart for peace”—a shared desire to end global wars and achieve world peace.
In her congratulatory address, IWPG Chairwoman Hyun Sook Yoon stated,
“Through this drawing contest, I’ve seen your visions of a peaceful world. I hope you will remember the spirit and lessons of peace, and grow to become future leaders who guide the world toward peace.”
