The 6th Peace-Loving Drawing International Contest, held under the theme “A Letter to Friends Suffering from War,” brought together over 23,000 children and youth from 130 cities across 53 countries.
This year, mentor-mentee ceremonies were held in 20 cities across South Korea, creating a valuable opportunity to share a worldview of peace across generations.
Even after the contest, the children’s artworks continued to deliver powerful messages of peace through joint exhibitions, fostering international empathy.
More than 70 civil society organizations, corporations, and media outlets signed MOUs for peace cooperation, using the contest as a platform to strengthen collaboration within their communities.
IWPG remains committed to expanding a culture of peace and will continue working to realize sustainable global peace through its ongoing initiatives.
