The International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to preventing war and achieving sustainable peace through solidarity, cooperation, and unity among women around the world.
Peace Begins with Me!
IWPG traces its roots to the 1990s in Seoul, Republic of Korea, where women came together voluntarily to serve their communities and put peace into action. These grassroots efforts gradually grew into a global movement of women committed to peace, leading to the official establishment of the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) on September 24, 2013.
