Designing Peace Through
Women's Voices

The Global Women's Peace Forum is an international platform created by the International Women's Peace Group (IWPG) to bring women's voices and experiences from diverse regions into a shared dialogue on peace.

Peace and insecurity are experienced differently across communities. Conflict, discrimination, social inequality, violence, environmental challenges, and barriers to participation affect women in different ways, while solutions that emerge from local communities can also offer valuable insights beyond their immediate contexts.

The Forum provides a space for women from diverse geographic, social, professional, and institutional backgrounds to share these realities, exchange practical approaches, and identify common priorities for sustainable peace.

4 Regional Sessions

In 2026, the Forum brought together women across four regional sessions representing the Asia-Pacific, Africa and Europe, the Americas, and South Asia and the Middle East. Through panel discussions and participatory small-group dialogues, participants examined the peace challenges affecting their communities and explored practical solutions, policies, and approaches that could contribute to meaningful change.
