IWPG collects and uses personal information as follows.

Processing participant registrations for the Global Women’s Peace Forum and verifying identity

Notifying important event-related information and managing operations

Managing participants and supporting networking at the forum

Items Collected

Name, nationality, country of residence, affiliated organization, position, email

IWPG membership status, IWPG event attendance history

Preferred session (region), willingness to participate in discussions, areas of interest

Retention and Use Period

Retained for 1 year from the event end date, then promptly destroyed

Destruction method: Electronic files are permanently deleted in an irrecoverable manner

You have the right to refuse consent to the collection and use of personal information.

However, as this is a required item for event participation, refusal of consent will restrict your registration and attendance.

※ For networking purposes during the event, some information (name, affiliation, position) may be shared among forum participants.

2. Consent to Online Event Participation and Recording/Documentation(Required)

This forum will be held online (via a video conferencing platform). Your consent to the following is requested to ensure smooth operation and proper documentation.

Scope of Recording and Documentation

All or part of the event (presentations, panel discussions, etc.) may be recorded.

Results of small group discussions (draft recommendations) will be recorded and compiled by designated staff.

Notes for Participants

For effective participation in discussions, you are encouraged to keep your camera on whenever possible.

Small group discussions will be conducted in English; no separate interpretation will be provided.

Recommendations developed during discussions may be used in the preparation of the report.

You have the right to refuse this consent.

However, due to the nature of online events, some recording during sessions may be unavoidable.

Refusal of consent may restrict your event registration.

3. Consent to Receive Promotional and Newsletter Information(Optional)

Purpose of Collection and Use

IWPG regular newsletters, peace activity updates, and campaign announcements

Information on upcoming events (via email)

Email address, name

Retention and Use Period

Until withdrawal of consent or termination of service

Consent to receive promotional information is optional. Declining will not affect your event registration or attendance.
