The 5th International Loving-Peace Art Competition
“Peace, Let’s be friends!”
The International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) is an international NGO that tries to achieve peace that the world needs. IWPG proposes peace education, peace culture, and peace institutions as the key to the fundamental cessation of war and sustainable world peace. The International Loving-Peace Art Competition is part of the peace culture initiative.
Since 2018, this international competition has been held annually to teach children and youth worldwide the value of peace and importance of cooperation, giving them an opportunity to create and disseminate a culture of peace. The preliminaries and finals take place internationally, and a panel of judges consisting of renowned figures in the artistic circle select the award-winning drawings through deliberation. Through the award ceremony, the awardees will be given a certificate and scholarship. The award-winning drawings will be presented at online/offline exhibitions through video, images, and brochures.
The Loving-Peace Art Competition plants peace in the hearts of children, the leaders of the future, and expands their artistic prospects. IWPG will continue to host this event to reach an understanding that transcends generational gaps and contribute to the expansion of international cooperation and a culture of peace, eventually laying the cornerstone of world peace and cessation of war.

The theme of the 5th International Loving-Peace Art Competition is “A World of Peace Learned from Nature.” The world is surrounded in nature, in which different creatures and elements live together in harmony based on balance and coexistence. Through the theme of this year’s competition, children realized that we, living amongst this nature, can achieve peace only when we strive for harmony based on understanding and cooperation, not conflict and confrontation.
Each and every one of the drawings, filled with beautiful colors that depict nature resembling peace, was radiant and moving. Thank you for drawing these amazing pieces that make us hope more desperately for world peace. We can only truly realize the peace depicted in these drawings if we come together as one and live in harmony. The children and youth who truly understand this value will become the heroes that bring peace and end war on the earth.
Once again, I would like to congratulate the success of the 5th International Loving-Peace Art Competition and thank the participants, judges, and all the staff members for making this happen. Our dedication does not end here. It will spread to nature and in the hearts of anyone viewing these drawings to become the foundational soil for a world of peace.

“The Time for Peace Will Finally Come”
The 5th International Peace-Loving Art Competition was for peace. I will continue to work with those who are impressed and interested in this competition, and from now on, I will make good plans and work hard for next year. Through this international convention, we must spread the news of peace to people around the world that we can live in peace and without experiencing war, together with mutual interest and harmony. I believe that if this peaceful cooperation continues, the time for peace will finally come.

“There Is No Advancement of Peace over Injustice”
I had the honor to be part of the jury for artistic works in the international competition for school students around the world, in the final stage, organized by the IWPG. I was impressed by IWPG’s interest in art, its appreciation of its value, its impact on building a human being, and raising her with values and a love of beauty. Thus, developing this spirit of peace and tolerance, and pushing her to cooperate with others for the sake of progress and development, which would eliminate ugliness, hatred, and wars.

“Planting the Seed of Peace in the Hearts of Children”
The International Loving-Peace Art Competition, ‘Peace, Let’s be friends!’ plants the seed of peace in the hearts of children. This seed becomes the source of energy to bring a world of peace. This is a meaningful event that passes down a world of peace to the future generation as a legacy. It is sad that many children and youth from conflict zones could not participate in the event. I hope that they can all join next year. I sincerely hope that a world of peace without war comes within our reach. I pray for the success and prosperity of the International Loving-Peace Art Competition hosted by the International Women’s Peace Group.

Description of Work
With this picture, I aim to convey the unity of people from each country in the world who collaborate to create peace. This will bring about peace to the people of the world. The way I have drawn a tree with the national flag at its core signifies that the essence of peace is the unity of each country, and the tree also symbolizes continuous growth. This means that the unity of people from each country and peace are growing day by day, just like a tree.
